    SNMP and ltsecurityinc.com DVRs

Interesting, that is happening on my client's iphone too. All those apps need a lot of work. they feel really cheap. Funny thing is, its a brovision products (they make their own DVRs) and the LTS site has instructions on using THAT.

Hey guys I have two LTS DVRs (LTD8316T-FT16) that was installed at a friends business (configured with different internal ip addresses) http://www.ltsecurityinc.com/ltd8316t-ft.html I believe these are rebranded hikvision DVRs. LTS's site states to use NVMS7000 by brovision as the...

    SNMP and ltsecurityinc.com DVRs

No worries my friend. No offense taken. I have a feeling what I am experiencing is also a compatibility problem between the NVMS7000 iphone/android app and the LTS DVRs that were installed. Of course those issues are the hardest to troubleshoot for a myriad of reasons and the only way to fix...

    SNMP and ltsecurityinc.com DVRs

If it played reliably, i "wouldnt give a shit", but he NVMS7000 software on the iphones and ipads that LTS says to install will constantly show "connection reset" at random times. This is part of my troubleshooting. Is the CPU maxed out? Is the memory full? Who knows?

Re: Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin l Yes sir! I came in "after the event". And you're right, these compromises can be pretty advanced. I have sniffing turned on and check everyday to see where a majority of the traffic is going just to make...

Re: Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin l FENDERMAN: Just so you know, I was brought into the situation to figure out remote iphone/ipad/android time out issues. The installer walked away from the project and is refusing to speak to me after being...

Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin login

Re: Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin l So I've never worked with DVRs before but I now know a lot more then I ever wanted to. I know that LTS will not respond to any tech questions sent to them and I've never received a call back from them after...

Re: Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin l I would like to note something here. When I first started troubleshooting the DVRs at this location, in addition to the weird internal IP addresses I was seeing in the remote admin logs, i also saw the...

Re: Seeing non public IP addresses that don't exist connecting to my DVRs via admin l So I was able to install a Juniper firewall at the location that gave me full bandwidth monitoring via SNMP. From what I can see on that end, the bandwidth at the location is barely touched. This means I...

    SNMP and ltsecurityinc.com DVRs

    SNMP and ltsecurityinc.com DVRs

Ok so I used an SNMP tester to do a "walk" through the SNMP settings on the DVR. You can search Paessler SNMP Tester and download it. This software has a "walk" setting and when its used with a generic OID, 1.3.6.1.2.1 Allows me to see how the DVR's SNMP responds. Here are the responses...
