Yes they are all the same cameras just different firmware. I have installed the LPR firmware on the DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS non-P cameras with no issues. I advise you to get the 8-32mm version unless camera is very close subject vehicles.

nayr, how long have you had your camera and is it mounted indoor or out? You always powered with 24VAC correct? Mine has always been powered with poe+ switch and is actually a oem (no Dahua logo) unit.

That's the first thing I tried. Tried with 2 different poe+ switches and 2 different 24VAC plug in transformers.

It gives "video lost" on Geo software and "can't connect" or something like like that on IE. Will take a picture when bad again as camera has been good for past 2 hrs.

Still no go. Tried it on Geo software and on IE with video loss on both main stream and sub stream. All the boards look good with no obvious damage anywhere but I'm still guessing it's a hardware and not software issue.

Yes fan is still good. Had it running with poe+ and tried 24VAC and another poe+ switch with same results. Replaced 3 caps so far ( 2 main and 1 that had some white stuff on top) and still no good.
