What's the nightitme performnance like on that ptz? Very small sensor. I noticed it looks pretty good on the lawn but then again a lot of light there. I alos noticed it didn't pickup or track the car at night in the background.- CCTVCam

I successfully installed BI6 last night. Quick guide just pulling many previous posts together as how to crops up regularly: 1. Back up your BI Config just in case 2. Also try re-installing the redistributable. Remove it then reinstall it. You can probably get the download through Windows update instead of BI. -

If you think it's a Windows problem, run DISM commands to repair system files. That might be your best chance. Otherwise in the absence of a full system back up prior to installtion (do you have backup software or Windows Restore on?), you're looking at a clean installation of Windows & days... -

There are drawbacks to a dashcam. You could disguise it. Put a cover over with a hole in it and hide the lens behind the hole etc. I really think it's your best solution. BTW I don't think bike cams are easily removed. I think they're usually on brackets fastened using Allen keys. Vandalism...- CCTVCam

You have almost zero chance of identifying them from that height no matter how good the camera. As you can see you look down on the top of their heads, no camera, no matter how good will change that. A good palce to start would be the universally recommended setting suggested in the wiki. Noting straight away here, you will struggle to get a good picture at night with that size (1/2.7" @ 4mp) of sensor.- CCTVCam

The problem is big names sell to consumers (look at celebrity brands), and AI is the biggest name atm. I'm guessing manufacturers see bigger profits on less capable sensors which are then "boosted" by AI. There's no getting away from the fact size wins. No better example still than the Sony... -

It sounds to me like they've bypassed the security using a vulnerability & given themselves root, which then opens them up to do anything or put anything on there. eg give themsleves admin, create accounts or put trojans / other software on there etc. I'm no expert, but probably the way forward... -
