How about 50 meters? But it must be good enough quality to distinguish face features. The field of view should be as large as possible.

Hello all, I am looking for an IP cam that will be able to clearly show objects up to 100 meters away in the dark. I don't need to be able to zoom in dynamically. It is possible to add an additional IR light closer to the target. Thanks.

What's the difference between that cam and something dirt cheaplike this? As in what are the benefits?

Hello, Are there any nice IP cameras out there for under $60? This is primarily for night security, so the farther the IR reach the better. Obviously seeing more-or-less clear faces would also be great. Thanks.
