Wonder if the Dahua NVR's or even the cameras have this functionality built in somewhere? I've searched for it and can't find nothing anywhere.

Anytime I reboot my NVR which is usually just once or twice a month, the clock (with the live timestamps in each corner of each camera) resets and I have to manually set it each time. I have the NTP checked and unchecked and it does not seem to help any. Also the time zone always defaults...

Im thinking of getting one of these, but I read a few people saying it can eat up power, well... any switch can eat up a power bill. Just wondering if there is a big difference on kilowatt usage and if anyone has seen a substantial spike in there electric bills?

I checked it out and played with it, very nice tool! Wish it wasn't so limited without a membership but it does good if you just do one cam and then remove after your done and using the next cam model. However keeping the PPF>100 using the turret I mentioned earlier, it doesnt seem to go out...

Are they that bad? It seemed the review that @nayr posted seemed to be rather positive. Im just wanting to make sure I have one wide angle? just like the bullet cams I had with the Amcrest one. Those covered a good area and then get the turret I still plan on getting.
