Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Thats great to hear, thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking of getting a couple for my house as they look perfect. One cam could do the job of the two I currently have at the front.

Webserver camera view doesn't work when trying to view on LAN PCs

Hi I’m using my local IP as I’m on a LAN. Yes I added the forwarded port to the new router. Haven’t tried the iPhone with ui3 just the dedicated app. The 2 PCs are connected via the router. I’ve been called away from work for the next 3 days, so I will try your other suggestions when I return...

yep, rebooted several times, run the remote access wizard again a couple of times, turned off firewall to make sure it wasn't blocking traffic.

Yes the Ui3 interface sorry. No error messages, just shows a blank page when trying to visit the web link, nothing more to say.

Webserver camera view doesn't work when trying to view on LAN PCs

Any reason why this would suddenly stop working? Got 2 PC's on the same LAN as the BlueIris server and neither can get the webpage camera view to load. iPhone viewing software still works fine, all IP addresses etc correct. Nothing seems to have changed at all.

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Guys, in the camera options Video page, under"Encode mode" there is an option for "Smart Codec" to be on or off. Can anyone enlighten me to what this is or does?

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Ok thanks for the reply, I was just confused that it didn't find the correct model of camera and just chose a standard camera profile. My NAS used to find the correct model, but maybe Blue Iris doesn't work this way. Cheers!

    Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-AS Starlight+

Hi guys, I purchased this camera but BlueIris does not detect the correct model number when I set it up. Do I just set it up as a bog standard ONVIF camera? Will I lose its great nightvision if I do?

    Optiplex for BlueIris

I've decided to ditch my NAS as the camera performance is poor with the inbuilt software. I would like to move over to BlueIris. I have read the Wiki pages on here about buying a refurbished optiplex unit, but I am still a little confused on some of the cpu naming conventions. Hopefully someone...

    My brain hurts now.

Fair enough, reason I asked about the NUC was because the OP linked to an $800 Dell Optiplex system and I thought that was very high priced to run BlueIris. NUCs a lot cheaper. Power usage/noise is my main concern really

    My brain hurts now.

The lower spec NUCs can be had pretty cheaply here, but I will take a look at the Wiki thanks. Sorry, I run 2 x 2MP cams at 20fps and 2x8mp at 20fps. Biggest issue I presume would be storage. Cheers.

    My brain hurts now.

Sorry to hijack this thread, would an Intel NUC be capable of running 4 cameras via BlueIris? I currently have a NAS but looking to switch away from it.

    Problem with DS-2CD2385FWD-I

My CPU usage on the resource monitor is never going above 30% so I just cant see it being that. Beginning to think its just the surveillance software causing the problem somewhere.

This is not really helping me come up with a solution to my original question is it.....? Which 4k camera SHOULD I have bought?

    Problem with DS-2CD2385FWD-I

Well its better than my older camera so I am happy. Only just got it so still needs some tweaking but I'm loving the 4k imagery.
