    Can't keep correct time

 Thanks for saving my butt again. Time zone was off by one. Working as it should now.

    Can't keep correct time

@fenderman, since the time change my cameras have been one hour ahead of NetTime. NetTime shows the correct time but cameras are an hour fast. And I tried a reboot this time with no luck. I don't see anything in NetTime settings that would help. Changing the DST settings in the camera also...

    Can't keep correct time

Disabling the firewall didn't seem to help either. If you have the time to take a look that would be great. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Can't keep correct time

I have the IP of the NTP server inside the camera set as my BI server IP...is that correct? I just looked at the others and they are not synced but they haven't ever lost time so they are close. The new camera is showing me 10/07/2017 00:08:xx Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Tried this and still no dice for me. I'm only having trouble with the most recent camera I've added. No matter what I do the time will not stay synced. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Settings help for washed out images IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

Messed around a bit and came up with this. 1/60 Shutter Speed 45 Gain 5 Grade 3DNR 50 WDR Video looks a lot better. Any other suggestions?

Settings help for washed out images IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

Recently installed another cam and finally getting some time to look at my night time images. My outdoor lighting is causing the night time forced color images to appear very washed out and not much detail can be made out on faces. Any suggestions on settings I can tweak to remedy this...

    Vehicle Burglary Suspect

Yup! That's why I don't keep much in my truck. Just glad he didn't think my backpack I use for work was worth anything. Would have busted my window for a stethoscope, safety vest, and a bunch of certification papers. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

The light will make the camera stay in color mode. Because I have so much light in the driveway and they're smart lights on a timer I have the camera in forced color mode at night. The carriage light you see does have black duct tape on the side of the glass facing the camera to reduce glare...

    Vehicle Burglary Suspect

Not sure. Maybe because the truck offers some form of concealment whereas that small car would be pretty hard to duck behind. The truck used to be parked in the garage until I built my gym on my side. Of course I've been getting a million 'I told you so's from the wife. Sent from my SM-N950U...

Caught this guy on my Starlight Thursday morning. I got lucky but he ended busting out a neighbors passenger window and stealing her purse. Sheriff's deputies said they've been after the same guy for a while now. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Messed up my BI screen

So when quickly trying to get out of my clips earlier I apparently clicked a couple of options that changed my BI screen to where I can now only view my cameras. No more tool bars, options, or anything. I can't figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Wall bracket needs junction box?

Mine is a cheap consumer grade cam I picked up on Black Friday. So far so good. Image quality at night has been acceptable because of the additional IR from the Starlight above the door. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Help with BI settings for Hikivision Cube

Yeah I understand that. It's set that way just for testing. I won't be recording with it just yet. Also the DNR is set at 5, just about all my cameras are. Doesn't look to be a typical ghosting issue. Either way, seems to be resolved for now. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Help with BI settings for Hikivision Cube

I just got my Cube in and I'm trying to set it up in BI. For some reason, my video in BI is choppy when there is motion. It looks like there are blocks are lines around the object in motion. The video does not look like this on the live feed on the Hikivision page so I'm assuming I messed up...

    Wall bracket needs junction box?

If you can, I suggest mounting it flush about eye level next to the door. I mounted my 5231 above the door because the wife wouldn't go with an eye-level mount. Short people and anyone with a hat don't always get a good face shot. I ended up supplementing with a doorbell cam.
