    Yeah, I've gone through it, but not sure which device he was using. OP was using an F6-DVR8 and wasn't able to get it to work as of Oct 2016. We're slowly transitioning into BI/IP, but wanted to keep the analog cams we have during the transition due to budget limitations.

    Is anybody recording a desktop as if it were a camera?

    Any luck with the VLC connection? I'm trying something similar with a few different options. There's an open source code someone has posted that could accomplish this, but I don't have the technical knowledge to implement it...

    I'm assuming he's referring to a client, not your post. Pozzello, I tried that, but couldn't figure out how to import the stream into BI. I'm quite new to this and have been playing around with it for several hours now
