Those rubber isolators look good, most likely the best option. I would use a security strap/wire since it is much easier to steal it this way.

The problem is still there, since screws transmit sound as well, but is not that bad, with rubber. My camera in on the garage.

Actually, my 59225 came with a big 24V supply as well, but I have never used it, just POE+.

Man I'm happy that I have the 59225 PTZ. Thomas, you should look into this version. It cost a bit more, but has autotracking(which does not work 100% of the time, but it is still cool). It does not seem to have many issues. I have 9 Dahua cameras and they all work. Will buy another one soon. :)

I would measure the surface mount capacitors, maybe one is shorted. At least, measure at the power input, to see, if it is showing a short.

I have both settings at 1. 5 would focus faster?

Lately, night is OK, but when is switching to day, the image is blurry, but not all the time. I'm using the day/night switching software, from this forum. What I'm doing wrong?

Mine is never that hot. If it would be mine, I would open it and look inside, what could be that hot? Maybe something is out of place, from shipping. On my Z12 camera, I did not have IR after a while. After opening it(with Andy's OK), I have found the IR connector, not pushed all the way in.

Mine is in a insulated garage as well(just placed on a table, still testing), with the fanless poe switch and they seem OK. I'm in LA, so pretty hot.

Purchasing a new camera should be the last resort. My 59225, sometimes is "looking" at weird stuff, but most of the time it works great.

I'm not familiar with nvrs. It has an internal power supply? Maybe one of the power rails has dies(5V, 3.3V, etc.). Bad voltage regulator, bulging capacitor, shorted mosfet transistor.

Nice camera, but tech101, you don't really need a 45x zoom for that area. My 25X can do that very well. I personally if I had that much money, I would have purchased two 59-ers.
