    Yes vari-focal might be the answer too. I'm going to get the local law enforcement up to look at it and see if there is any way that I can face the cameras side on to the fence as the fence is a long area to try and focus on small objects/faces ... :)

    Thanks for the replies ... yes all good points ... and you've picked up on the main elements ... :) Local police are on our side and system will be fitted with them involved ...
