Two sensor into one input is really smart actually :) As you point out, running wire from the house to Cam1 is a pain, that's why I would like to have the sensor(s) on the garage. The Paradox NVX80 has a field of vision of 90º and 16 meter range. That sounds like it could cover most of my area?

I'm thinking about getting a Paradox NVX80 and either just hook it to a camera which then triggers BI or add a universal zwave sensor and let Home Assistant trigger BI.

BI = BlueIris, it a NVR. Blue Iris - Video Security Software

My 8232 draws about 10.5W with flood IR at max and long distance IR around 50%.

If you run BI you can grab the image from there, thats how I do it.

Here is from today, would a lower FPS increase quality? What does SVC do in practicality, I can't see any difference when changing it? Switched to BLC and the following settings.

Hi, I've read that it's different versions Base and High with the high having slightly better quality. But are all these supported in BI with hardware encoding or should I stick to a specific one for that?

FPS? 20 exactly if I remember correctly. What's a "reasonable" setting and why does it happen at higher fps?

Here comes the same images but at night time (~11:30pm). I'll do some tests with myself tomorrow and see how that turns out. I've noticed some ghosting in BI with Backlight enabled, can that be remediated?

Found it, renamed it and just restarting BI. I'll disable the NAS. I also tried to open and view the clips on the nas and they work. And... THANKS for all the help Fenderman, it's much appreciated!
