12MP IR Bullet WizMind Network IPC-HFW71242H-ZX Camera Night tripwire video footage results

Couple of observations 1- turn off WDR at night. Use it in daytime if absolutely necessary. It creates motion blur at night especially 2- Really not as bad as I thought it would be. You just need more light. Either IR or white light. With enough light you may also be able to back off DNR just a...

    IVS by Recorder

Same resources, better detection with less false alerts. SMD is just an AI layer on tiop of regular MD. It detects the entire scene only, no zones, and with no directional element IVS is way superior. So yes what I'm saying is try turning off SMD on a channel and instead using IVS on that...

    IVS by Recorder

That may be the issue. SMD is simply another AI tool. You may find you can’t run it and IVS simultaneously on the same channel.

New Setup Thoughts: Blue Iris or NVR

Hope you and yours are well too sir. Getting the hang of retirement, I like it! On the firewall device, while it can also be used as a router, I don’t. I still use my Netgear router. But easy VPN implementation, built in dual LAN support and all of the many things that come with a good firewall...

    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

We're way past the legal system helping I'm afraid. Things like this will continue to trickle down, "if he can thumb his nose at the court so can I" attitude if it spreads, things will get ugly.

New Setup Thoughts: Blue Iris or NVR

At first I'd recommend BI because thats what you're familiar with and that knowledge will come in handy training him. But.. NVR is going to be more simple to set up and run You can use P2P and make it all seemless, which as far as I can tell we've never seen a report of any hacking of an NVR...
