Hi All, The firmware on my DB11 has updated to V1.000.R.20211207 and the video now seems overexposed. I tried to manage with the config tool and now I am getting a message that it is not supported yet. Configtool is updated to latest version 5.000.0000001.8 Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like my Lenovo Smart Clocks. Constantly changing mac and ip addresses. Not really a big deal for those devices though.

bob4412.... I would just try copying the settings i posted above, Put your username and pw in the correct boxes and just enter 192.168.1.137:554/live in the address box. Also I assume you've already done this but you did enable rtsp on each cam in the wyze app correct? Under settings>advanced.

I also had to disable hardware decoding to get my Wyze cams to work.

Here you go. I use the Dahua Sunset/Sunrise utility to change settings. Run full auto during the day. 100% zoom

The white van here is 233ft. Alpr would capture both plates but i have the van masked off because it's parked there every day. The night images are at 150ft but it can get them farther just depends on the plates. Since I live at the end of a culdesac it's easy to get every car on the street.

I have the IPC-HFW5231E-Z5 and can easily capture plates at 200ft. I have a straight shot up my road so that is an advantage.

Even with the sticker people are still pressing on the camera.

Have you tried rebuilding the DB?

HA! If people had clean hands it wouldn't be an issue but it seems that everyone has greasy fingers and leaves a big smudge on the lens. Going to make myself a label now.

Random post here.... Maybe its just me but almost everyone that comes to my house and "rings" the doorbell presses on the camera instead of the button. Is that happening to anyone else?

Ok thanks I'll give that a shot. If I recall correctly this has always been an issue for my driveway camera. I had a IPC-HDW5231R-Z first and then the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and now the IPC-T5442TM-AS. Seems like the camera just cant make up its mind in the auto mode.

I can quickly and easily access the alerts and cameras. There is obviously more that it can do but for me that is the most important part . My wife also has the app and she never has any issues with it so thats a plus.

The app does exactly what is supposed to do and it works well for me.

Just updated my firmware using the config tool and so far so good. After upgrade the app prompted for another upgrade like @oapgt stated. Just completed that upgrade everything looks good.

Add the same camera multiple times... I believe that will do it.

I have this problem intermittently. It seems to come and go. App always connects from outside the home but when on local network I get the error occasionally. I haven't spent much time troubleshooting but maybe I will next time I see it.
