    Yes, the process still works. I upgraded the server at my mom's yesterday. I was a bit concerned that she would not get the upgrade price after reading this thread, but there were no issues. I upgraded my system on day one...

    Thanks for the notice. I just updated my system. Granted I don't have that many cameras, but, I did not notice any increase in CPU usage after the update. One of my cameras, (Acti E44) is rotated 90 degrees, and the other two are recording direct to disk.

    I use the TL-POE150S on each of my Hiks and one my ACTI E44. They have worked flawlessly for me for a year now.

    Yeah, I saw that. Bummer their raising the price, but that is still worth it to me. I buy enouigh online that I more than recoupe that price in the free Prime shipping. Just hope it does not go up much more than that.

    That is a very interesting camera. Especially for the price. I was thinking of getting a mirror replacement with the camera integrated, but this has really nice specs. What types of mounting are provided? It is easy to mount out of driver's eyeline?

    Thanks, and yes, it is hard to pace myself. The saving up for the next greatest camera is a killer. The fun is seeing how many new models come out before I can afford one!

    What apps do you guys use to access your cameras?

    I use the Blue Iris mobile app on my iPhone and iPad. I have tried others but I like the similar interface with Blue Iris. I used IPcam viewer for a bit, but did not like its performance.

    Howdy, Its great to see another place to learn about and share information on IP cameras. This has become a new hobby for me and I have a lot to learn. I hope to one day be able to contribute once I learn a bit.
