    I would need colour information in case false plates are used. Wouldn't increasing the shutter speed create darker images, making it difficult to determine the colour of the car?

    Here's a still from Hikvision's webinar, stating the issue is the frame rate. The stills from the above footage were from a professional CCTV installer, maybe they left the shutter speed on the default settings. Iframes just means sending the whole image instead of the changes that would not...
