    SIP Videocall To DS-KB8113-IME1(B)

Ok, I will try to figure out how to use wireshark and will post the logs in a 1-2 days. I have dmtf_mode = info (SIP INFO), which I think means it is not inband. Also I only have ulaw, alaw, and h264 enabled in Asterisk. Linphone will provide more codecs, but I believe the codecs are paired...

    SIP Videocall To DS-KB8113-IME1(B)

I have Asterisk logs, which shows RTP type 00 and 96 are being transfered. not sure if 96 means video? https://cdck-file-uploads-global.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/asterisk/original/2X/4/4b9c5756b3dfe9538ce19762888105d5f6e2edb5.txt Anyway wondering if I should expect the doorbell to...

    SIP Videocall To DS-KB8113-IME1(B)

Hello, I was able to connect this doorbell directly to my Asterisk PBX; I do not own an indoor station. Upon a doorbell button press, I successfully get a video call, with video/audio preview only my Linphone App. Now, I was hoping to be able to videocall the doorbell from my Linphone App, and...

NVR decoding capability and live view

Ahh, so the 80/160 Mbps is actually total bandwidth of all internal channels? I assume this is limited by some internal switch then. I guess I should be good since I got the 16-port version. I'll have 10Mbps available for each camera. Thanks for the quick reply!

NVR decoding capability and live view

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but my question is semi-related. I can start a new thread if that is preferred. I helped a co-worker install a NR32P6-16, which I believe is a white-label DS-7616NI-K2/16P. Along with 2 x 6TB WD Purple Harddrives in a mirrored configuration. We have installed 4...

Getting Chinese G0 DS-2CD2335-I working with NVR (DS-7104NI-E1/4P)

Thanks, I played around with the system a little bit more and see that I do indeed have the "language mismatch" error. I was able to manually connect using ONVIF and everything is working fine now.

Getting Chinese G0 DS-2CD2335-I working with NVR (DS-7104NI-E1/4P)

So I'm guessing because I received no responses this is impossible? Should I be seeing an error message anywhere, I have read about a "language mismatch" error , but not sure where to confirm if I have that. Maybe there is a way to connect to the camera as if it is just a generic RTSP...

Getting Chinese G0 DS-2CD2335-I working with NVR (DS-7104NI-E1/4P)

Hello, I bought/moved into a new home and am currently fixing my old home to sell. I left my 4 x 3MP Hikivision cameras installed hoping it would add some value having a working camera system. I personally use Zoneminder but for the home I am selling just bought a Hikivision NVR...

Baby Cam (DS-2CD2432F-IW) not Overwriting Files

So it seems the problem was the micro SD Card got corrupted. I couldn't repartition it on Linux or Windows, and can't write to it on those systems either. I'll go and get another one, and only have it write to the sdcard when the PIR is triggered.

Baby Cam (DS-2CD2432F-IW) not Overwriting Files

Thanks! I was thinking newer firmware might help, but wasn't sure the best place to download it. One of the threads here, had the latest for R0 at the same version (5.4.5) I have seen mention of version 5.5.0, which I am willing to try, if I knew a reliable link. Also, I'll try reformatting...

Baby Cam (DS-2CD2432F-IW) not Overwriting Files

I have a DS-2CD2432F-IW I am using as a baby cam. It has installed on it firmware V5.4.5 build 170123. I set it up a few months ago to continuously record to an internal 128GB Micro SD Card. Looking at the recordings, it looks like it filmed for 1.5 days, until the SD Card was full, and no...

    R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

Ok, glad it sounds possible, just more complicated. I did buy a USB to serial adapter and have used it for some projects before including un-bricking a 2432 I really screwed up before.

    R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

Serial number is "DS-2CD2335-I20150928AACH544009497", not sure if there is a better model number I can find somewhere? As far as I know it is a Chinese camera with Chinese menus. If there is no way to get an English firmware on it, I am fine just updating it to the latest Chinese version to...

    R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

Thanks @alastairstevenson this worked great to get my Chinese non-bricked 2432 to English with the latest firmware. I was wondering, I also have a 2335 in Chinese. Is there a similar English firmware for that model? I was planning on selling it on eBay, and I assume most people who want it in...

    HIKVISION mtd Brick Recovery Guide

yeah I didn't see anything that stuck out like that in /dev and pulling/plugging in the card doesn't produce anything in dmesg. as I said I think I'm in some sort of preboot environment, not sure how the boot process goes for these units but I think me screwing up mtdblock6 stops it part way...

    HIKVISION mtd Brick Recovery Guide

sweet, I'll try nolock tonight. I got a lot of options for recovery so hopefully I can get this thing fixed. this unit even has an sdcard but I couldn't seem to find the block device to mount. I have a feeling the limited OS I'm in doesn't have everything the regular OS has.

thanks, I'll try password I had set before. but I think I'm not in the regular OS since I screwed up my mtd6 block. see https://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php/3408-HIKVISION-mtd-Brick-Recovery-Guide?p=113522&viewfull=1#post113522 I'm thinking of trying ssh so I can use sftp/scp to send a...

    HIKVISION mtd Brick Recovery Guide

Ok, so I tried the mtd hack, but made a mistake because I got confused watching a youtube video that didn't match exactly the thread on the subject =/. - I only changed /dev/mtdblock6 from 01 to 02 - and didn't edit anything else to keep the checksum correct Now I think I'm really screwed. Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW Bricked?

So I was able to upload the digicap.dav for v5.3.0 Chinese version, and now the camera seems to somewhat work, but I still can't do anything with it. I see it on SDAP, HTTP Port shows as N/A and DSP Version is blank. Any idea where I can go from here?
