Thanks, good to know. My other cams focus alot faster so I wasn't sure. The picture quality is pretty great - covers my front walkway.

Mine was underneath a soffit and pretty protected but gave up the ghost after about 6 months. I took a chance - best to use these indoors. 5231 is a nice cam though mine focuses slowly....probably a setting issue.

Try to detect it using Smart PSS. Config Tool didn't work for me on the last camera I bought but Smart PSS was able to detect it without the need to change the computer's IP.

I bought that cam for a non-critical use - it works for what I need it for but not something I'd consider for a primary camera. Firmware is a bit funky - I'm having trouble with motion detection. I believe the 1320s has stock English updateable firmware and should work ok.

I used a spare 12v adapter too but the center pin wasn't contacting so had to give it some friendly pursuasion.
