Hey Rob i chased Hikvision for firmware 3,3,3 they said released on 15th !! They did say end of month before! i have the ds-720ghghi-sh and nothing worked to get email notifications since google started to get rid of ssl................... i have an email account with every supplier...

Hikvision say there is a new release in 10 days for firmware on all of its products i think i can wait little longer before i jump on DVR!

We are having issues at the moment with Gmail.
At the end of the month Firmware version 3.3.3 will be released which will address this issue.

Hi Marcfon, I did create a free smtp2go and used that password, tried all ports not working with ,y DVR.

I am based in UK and using DVR DS-7204HGHI-SH firmware V3.3.2 build 151118
Gmail was working fine with me up until a month a go. When it went off I found this forum and realised it was not the only one facing this email problem.
Then I changed to the app -specific created password sign...
Tried same settings as Boblehat, nope not working for me at all, not even test
smtp: aspmx.l.google.com
port: 25
SSL: off
authentication: off (box not ticked, no username/password entered)
no good for my DVR
