    Help with profiles and geofence

@andycots Thanks for the response, but I'm not sure I understand how to get the profile to determine weather to pick the Day or Night profile when I enter or exit the geofence. I found an alternate solution, but it's a bit cumbersome. I created 4 profiles (Day, Night, Away, Home). I set each...

    Help with profiles and geofence

Hi All, I've been a BI user for quite some time now, but up until today my setup has been pretty simple. I have a total of 6 cameras (4-Exterior, 2-Interior). The interior cameras have never been set to trigger/record as we just use them check on the pets when away from home. I also only have 2...

    BI camera

Browse directly to the camera's web interface and check the fps restrictions there. Also make sure when you add it to BI make sure it's discovering it with ONVIF. It should be able to pull the correct fps from the camera.

Motion Detection: Benefits on Camera vs in BI?

Thanks marklyn, I agree having BI as the central hub for all camera configuration is preferred as it just makes everything easier and cleaner. It also makes it easier to backup and restore configuration if needed. I was just wondering specifically how much additional CPU utilization could be...

Motion Detection: Benefits on Camera vs in BI?

Hey guys, I've been running BI for several years now and have started slowly adding more cameras to my setup. I'm thinking about adding a few Dahua starlight models based on everyone's high recommendations here. I would ideally like to setup these new cameras for full time recording as well as...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Thanks for the idea again! I ended up making my own mounting plate and reusing the existing holes in the brick. This actually works out pretty well because it creates a cavity behind the doorbell for the wires and if I ever have to replace this doorbell I didn’t add any more holes to the brick...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Hey guys, So I have a bit of a dillema, my LaView doorbell camera came in today so I was excited to get it installed. I removed my Ring doorbell to find a plethora of holes. My entryway is beginning to look like the scene of a drive by shooting. I thought maybe I could reuse some of the holes...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I have the original Ring doorbell my wife purchased as a Christmas gift a few years back and this thing is terrible (slow, cloud dependent, fees). I also have been watching the market for a replacement that will work with my existing BlueIris setup (No cloud dependencies) and was excited to see...
