    @IAmATeaf that did the trick, rolling back to the last stable version of BI seems to have solved the memory issue. Not sure why it would default to download anything else, but thank you for your help! @SouthernYankee I will go though and adjust my setting according to your recommendations...

    The version that downloaded from their website automatically was 5.8.0.6 x64 (10/17/2023).

    Not sure what happened to this thread, but this same thing is happening to me. I just moved from a QNAP NVR to a dedicated PC running Blue Iris. RAM usage keeps climbing over several hours until the computer locks up and needs to be restarted. After a restart, RAM usage goes down to about 1.5GB...
