Below, is from local SmartPSS, and a remote NVR with 4 5442TM-ASE-S3, set to 8128Mbps each, connenction is from a 5G FWA router, 300 Mbps down, 80 Mbps up, but .... hig ping/latency, reports incorrect bandwitdth usage

@tigerwillow1 Is ok when you use SmartPSS locally, or remotely ? In the second case, how many bandwidth do you have, in upload ?

Known issue, low bandwidth/hig lag, produce this behavior

Did you try with the new fw ? They have fixed the corrupted firmware.bin file.

Did you try to download and unzip it (download, firmare)?

Seems some improvements, see here, I've already talked with Andy, about that issue, He told me that will ask to Dahua for know if there is any issue with the online fw (the SHA256 doesn't match).

Have you been able to download the latest fw from dahua website ? I tried, but I get corrupted firmware.bin file, while decompressing.

@Perimeter do you have the turret, or the bullet ? I have had, on my hands, the turret, second serie (both sensors 1/1.8” ), but, even if the daytime image is ok, similar to the 5442, nightime image, is a joke, is ok only with specific illumination, otherwise, it behaves crazily, even the BW...

Did you click on the lines ? You should be able to resize, move, and so on ... Just tried on HFW-5442E-ZE , I can adjust the Global Setup

Double click inside the (small) image, then edit the lines.

@Cooltiger which firmware is running, on your camera ?

Cams and NVR belong to the same network (192.168.3.0/24) ?

I've seen a couple of dual lens, eyeball (not bullet), day-time is good, but night-time....not even to compare to the T5442TM-AS in B/W only.....

@ludshed And you still haven't seen the amazing technology of the dual-lens multi-spectrum imaging (in real world scenario), with its current best firmware ... :oops::lmao:

In theory, you should be able to get, with all AI disabled 4-channel 4MP@20 fps, with AI enabled, 4-channel 4MP@15 fps ........ from the NVR directly.

How many cameras do you have ? All 4 Mp ?

You cannot change the decoding capability of the NVR, you can only adjust the FPS of your cams for don't exceed it (or use a more powerful NVR)

Check its Decoding Capability

Which NVR are you using ?

Anyway, seems like they have never sold the 8 series ...

Regarding the IPC-HDW5449H-ASE-D2, maybe, with a new fw, things may get better. For now, no ability to switch profile based on ambient light, the calibration, doesn't get saved, some areas of the image, during nighttime, even with some light, are always slightly doubled, due to the not "correct...

@TechBill , for what I've seen, stay away from the IPC-HDW5449H-ASE-D2...... potentially, one of the best camera, actually one of the worst.

@Captain_B Use a good Gigabit switch ...

Do you have the issue only with VLC, or even with a web browser ?

If hooked up to the cisco switch, you should be able to see details of the connected device, on a specific port (mac, ip, traffic, and so on )
