Hi - sorry, me again... I've got a DS-7716NI-I4/16P, that in the middle of a bad firmware upgrade (I jumped too many versions at once) I somehow lost all connectivity to the cameras. Is there a way to just plug these cameras directly into a switch, not the NVR and do a hard reset on them? If... -

Is the only way to complete reset this system up - is by getting up to each camera and pushing a button ? I'm tempted to just buy a bunch of wyze cams and call it a day. -

to answer some questions you may have. Cameras are plugged into the nvr and both orange and green lights are lit up.. they worked just fine until I did the forced firmware pull via python2. I do know the camera passwords, as I verified it with Camera 01. I had reset all the camera passwords... -

Alright, so here's the new mystery. The NVR can see the IP's of the cameras, and they change if I unplug them and replug them back into the NVR, all but one of them say offline. The one that is online is using the correct password and I can connect to it. SADP can see it as well, but SADP... -

had the wire plugged into the wrong port, figured it out this AM at 6am.. 3 mins later, I'm in. Weird thing is only 1 camera is working, just starting to look at that now.. -
