I've just looked on here at that method. To be honest i don't feel very confident trying to do that. I think i might just have to pick up another camera to replace this one.

I did during the second day of it not working. It says that the firmware upgrade completed successfully and rebooted, ever since then it's not worked. I can still get the camera to ping on 192.168.1.108 and it ends up losing pings and then it pings fine again so the camera is not completely...

I can't even get anything out of the camera though :( I can't get into the web interface and the camera no longer does the clicking sound when it's rebooting. I used to have a green LED light that came on on the PCB but even that doesn't come on now.

The seller on Aliexpress has said that i can send it back to them and they can check what the problem is.

I'm still yet to hear from Dahua so i've dropped them a message on Facebook to see if they can shed any light on the problem.

I've tried plugging my camera directly into the PC but still had no joy with it :( I have e-mailed Dahua to see if they can help at all but yet to hear anything back.

Just tried that and all i get it "this page can't be displayed"

Can i ask, where you put /current_config, what would i put in there? My user name for the camera? DMZ is disabled, i have Upnp which is currently enabled.

The firmware i upgraded to was DH_IPC-HX6X3X-Rhea_Eng_P_Stream3_V2.460.0000.7.R.20170306.bin I've tried connecting the camera directly to another PC and still getting the issue of getting a few pings then they go. Unable to access the web console at all for the camera.

Yes i no longer get the green LED light on the PCB board any more on my camera :(

Just held the reset button down for a full 2 minutes and still not working. Get a load of pings then start losing pings then pings kick back in after a while and it repeats this process

I still get some pings on mine then it loses the pings but i get no noises at all from the camera any more.

I'm not too sure of how much of a power problem it is as a number of cameras seemed to have all gone off around the same time. My camera no longer makes the clicking (zooming) kind of noise now as though it's rebooting.

yes i've tried that. I have just this second tried it again and still doesn't work.

I've held the reset switch down for 30 seconds. I've also tried holding it down for a full minute too. I've tried plugging just the camera into the switch on its own but still the same results.

I've attached another picture. I have ran angry IP scanner and when i can get the camera to ping Angry IP scanner can see that it is on 192.168.1.108 but whenever i try and put that into the browser it doesn't send me anywhere. i keep losing the pings and it pops up saying general failure and...

I have just tried resetting it again using the switch inside and i still can't get onto the web interface for the camera on 192.168.1.108

I've just tried that and still getting no joy out of it. Still getting a few pings then it stops pinging, i have tried attaching a picture of it.

Did you leave the camera plugged into a switch or did you connect the camera directly to the PC?

I haven't tried a memory card in mine. I don't have one to hand either unfortunately but i can't see how i will be able to access it if i can't get onto the web browser to log into the camera :(

Can i ask where you got yours from? I e-mailed the seller yesterday but are still yet to hear anything.

Yeah i'm 99% sure mine is bricked now, although i wouldn't have thought i would have still be able to get a ping back from the ip?

On my camera you have to unscrew it so the unit opens up and there is a button sticking out the side of the board on it and you can press that to reset it.

Does seem a bit weird that our cameras have failed at around the same time. I'm still waiting to see if i hear anything back from the seller because taking it apart and having a mess about to see if i can do anything.
