I turned on the "Auto Reboot" option in my camera settings yesterday, thinking it might be a good idea to let the camera reboot once a week to prevent unnoticed camera hang-ups. However, I noticed that when the camera comes back up after the reboot, it does not automatically continue recording...

I figured it out. It was the Anti-Dither setting above! It was set to "30" which matched the "excessive" amount of trailing footage in my clips. I set it to 0 and now the recording stops 10 seconds after the event expires.
