Firmware for newer dahua cams as well as detailed specs available here

I just tried to download the firmware for Dahua IPC-HFW2441T-ZS and got the "Not Found / The requested URL was not found on this server.". I then tried some other cameras and it was the same for them, too. I'm not sure how long this has been broken like this for, but here's what I found out...

Encode mode for sub-stream constantly changes to MJPEG

Dahua IPC-HFW1435S-W-S2 -- 2.680.0000000.28.R, Build Date: 2021-09-11 Via the camera web interface, I set the Sub Stream Encode Mode to H-264. I'm guessing a web browser will be unable to open this by itself using a http:// request so I opened it in VLC via the rtsp:/ request which worked...

Where to buy Dahua in Europe?

I spent the last couple of days browsing Dahua cameras and discovering different specs that they have, and finally settled on what I want. But the problem is that I can't find a proper place or distributor for Dahua that has the cameras I want. Dahua offers 2.8 mm and 3.6 mm focal length models...

Can I delete recorded clips from the SD card inside the camera?

I have motion triggered clips recorded to my Dahua IPC-HFW1435S-W-S2 bullet camera and I have recently gone into Settings->General->Date&Time and somehow the time jumped a few hours ahead due to the timezone setting. For example, the real time was 7:00 and the camera jumped to 13:00 and recorded...

    Camera doesn't record after auto-reboot

I turned on the "Auto Reboot" option in my camera settings yesterday, thinking it might be a good idea to let the camera reboot once a week to prevent unnoticed camera hang-ups. However, I noticed that when the camera comes back up after the reboot, it does not automatically continue recording...

How to configure post-event recording duration?

I figured it out. It was the Anti-Dither setting above! It was set to "30" which matched the "excessive" amount of trailing footage in my clips. I set it to 0 and now the recording stops 10 seconds after the event expires.

How to configure post-event recording duration?

Ok, looks like this is a bug then. My camera has the older interface and Record Delay is set to 10 (which is the minimum). In reality it records for 40 seconds after the event. If I set it to 20 in the textfield, then it will record 50 seconds after the event. So it seems it adds "30" to...

How to configure post-event recording duration?

Hello all. I switched from Reolink to Dahua recenctly and I'm going through the configuration options that Dahua has. Some terminology is a little different which is sometimes confusing, but the current issue I am trying to solve is the post-event recording duration. I want my camera to only...
