I have a wee problem with backlighting as well ;). That said, the Reolink doesn't do too bad when the sun is pointing right at it. Maybe some BLC is on by default?

@goldenboy48, the Reolink supports ONVIF pretty good. Have you been able to add other non-Hik cams to your Hik DVR?
