    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Is that quite a new NVR? Mine has some AI built-in, but it's an older model and it doesn't seem to want to work with this camera, using the Camera's IVS or the NVRs IVS. Also, your box around the car looks very different to mine.

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

So, I disabled IVS in-camera and set it up on the NVR instead, with the AI by recorder set. I have both an intrusion box and a zig-zag tripwire across the entire FOV and it's not picking anything up at all. Which just seems so weird. Does placement affect AI detection? The camera is pointing...

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Interesting, I've always done it in camera, but I've just added an intrusion box on the NVR and set it to use the NVR's AI, so it will be interesting to see if this improves things.

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Ok, I'm not a regular on the forum and hadn't seen these issues before. I've changed the IVS to three trip wires in each 1/3 of the image and that's improved things marginally, but still not anywhere as good as my other cameras. Thankfully I also use Frigate, so that's picking up most of the...

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

As an update to this, my wife just went out, she walked between the two vehicles, no triggering of the IVS. The IVS only flashed when the white van pulled away. And that's on maximum sensitivity

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

So, I've put in both an intrusion box and a tripwire, just to get something to work. In the NVR, nothing is being recorded, other than full time & Motion. No IVS events I always do all the setup in the camera, I only do the recording schedule for the NVR on the NVR itself.

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

I have the IPC-Color4K-T-180 and my IVS is not working, but not sure if my NVR is maybe not compatible, although it works fine with all my other cameras. Firmware is V3.140.0000000.21.R, Build Date: 2024-05-14, which I believe is the latest version and I haven' tried to update it. I reset...

Dahua IPC-Color4K-T has anyone figure out API to operate the LED?

Thank you, I managed to get it working on a curl command in the end, after I realised that some of the double quotes were unicode rather than ASCII, which was stopping it working. I can get the light to go on and off, but not tested it to see if watching the stream stops that happening, yet.

Dahua IPC-Color4K-T has anyone figure out API to operate the LED?

Has anyone managed to send the API command using Home Assistant? I'm trying to use a Rest Command, but it returns a 410, even if I put the username & password in the URL I haven't managed to get a curl command working from Home Assistant, either. I can turn the lights on & off with my...

IPC-Color4K-T180 - Control warm light with API?

Thank you, I was missing the _v2 part, although I still can't get it to turn off, only on! I will keep playing

IPC-Color4K-T180 - Control warm light with API?

I have just bought this camera from Andy. There will probably be enough light for this to work without using the built-in warm lights, plus there are LED floodlights that come on with a motion sensor, which will help. However, as a Home Assistant user, I'm interested to see if there is a way...

Hi Andy I'm looking for one or two 2.8mm cams with good night vision, most likely the IPC HDW-5442TM-ASE, if that's the best one for night vision? I'm in the UK, so please can you let me know how much it is per camera, plus shipping and if I need to pay VAT or import tax? Thank you

Pulled Ethernet socket off camera cable

I've actually now found a Keystone jack, so I'll use that and fit that as that way I can be sure it's wired up up correctly.

Pulled Ethernet socket off camera cable

OK, So luckily, this camera, which is a HDW5541HP, has standard coloured wiring. So I've crimped on a new RJ45 plug, in the normal T568B configuration, which is Orange - white, orange, green-white, blue, blue-white, green, brown-white, brown. But, to my thinking, as that plug is the wrong way...

Pulled Ethernet socket off camera cable

I was trying to unplug the ethernet cable on one of my cameras today and couldn't get the waterproof connection apart. After much twisting and pulling, rather than the connector coming apart, I managed to pull the RJ45 socket off the camera cable instead:eek: I make my own cables so have a...

Dahua NVR & Camera - Can't enable Smartplan, SMD or IVS in NVR

I've now figured this out, so will put the answer here, as I know from Google searches, other people have had this problem. Make sure your connection to the camera is "Private" using TCP port 37777 and not ONVIF. This has now enabled the NVR to communicate with the camera properly and I can now...

Dahua NVR & Camera - Can't enable Smartplan, SMD or IVS in NVR

I have just recently bought a Dahua NVR4108-4KS2/L which I was using with some existing Hikvison cameras. Having discovered the AI section I have now bought a Dahua IPC-HDW3549TMP-AS-LED camera, which has AI and supports IVS, SMD & Smartplan. I have enabled IVS in the camera, under Event ->...
