If it's successfully sending that means it's going somewhere. But it could be getting dropped at any number of steps along the way. Check the most obvious first which would be spam folder or any rules you might have setup.

What exactly are you expecting to see occur? What does "recognised by router" mean in your mind? The problem could be with your ISP. Some ISP's block known service ports unless you're using a business plan.

It's worth considering that lights will attract insects. Being able to have lights set up away from the camera will still attract insects but they won't be buzzing around your camera.

None of those things are their standards. I'm talking about standards to their industry. Eg mounting holes on every ATX motherboard are in the same position regardless of manufacturer and model. You can't even get the same mounting holes on a security camera from the same manufacturer.
