Unifi G4-Pro - how to zoom?

Sorry for the delayed response, I just noticed your question.. I do not control the zoom of my G4's through Blue Iris, I don't think you can easily.. I log into the camera directly using its ip address and zoom and focus it to the area I wish to cover. and just leave it set at that point.

Thanks Wildcat... i think I am almost there with my static settings... Ideally I would like to have the camera zoomed in more, but when doing so, the object vehicle becomes larger than the target area and a tight zoom seems to miss vehicles, so for now i am just ignoring the "plate size is too...

Thanks for the suggestion. My coding skills are pretty weak although I know I could struggle through it and get a custom script working, it would be time intensive for me. In the past few weeks I have found a setting that is working pretty good for me, it just could be so much better and I am...

I am hoping the new to be released firmware addresses the day/ night settings.. I have had no luck setting the Iris to Manual and having the same setting work for both day and night captures and am trying to find a workaround. Also, searching for a answer on setting the "Iden Area" correctly...

FWIW, I have been struggling to get this camera setup properly and from my experience so far, you will be able to get this camera to work great in the daytime or ok in the night but not both as you cannot set the exposure and iris per mode so you have to do either try the middle which works...

    Help.. ANPR setup using IPC-LPR237B-IR

So I just put the area where a car may park in an exclusion zone as a workaround, except that I am worried that it overlaps where vehicles will be travelling.

    Help.. ANPR setup using IPC-LPR237B-IR

Working on getting my ANPR camera setup and having yet not found a good walkthru of "how to" I am stumbling... Currently trying to figure out why the camera will capture images and plates of passing vehicles but instead records the plate number of the parked car while capturing the plate of...

Bingo! Pale Moon 32b works!!! Finally! I am surprised that as sophisticated as this camera claims to be, that it takes a ancient web browser to use it! Anyhow, thank you so much for the help! Even Sleepy Joes has a cognitive moment once in a Pale Moon!

No I did not, the video stream is black in IE and the Chrome plug in just stays on the login screen on the camera's GUI. I tried resetting the camera back to factory defaults, I then set it to CBR and still no glory, so then I tried installing the chrome plug-in on a brand new Windows 11...

Thanks, I have tried the extension in Chrome, however, it will not let me past the login screen for the camera, it just refreshes back to the login page with the fields cleared. I am very surprised to be having such a hard time getting this camera to work. The only video feed I can get to work...

What is the correct web browser to use for access to the GUI? For me, Chrome requires an extension which loads the camera login page but will not accept a Username/password, it just clears the fields. I tried Microsoft Edge and it uses the same Chrome extension. IE has it’s own plugin which...

Unifi G4-Pro - how to zoom?

Hello, I have a unifi g4-Pro that I had for some time and is now connected to Blue Iris. I am trying to find the zoom control in the camera's UI but it does not appear to be there??? Am I missing something or was this only available when it was being controlled through the defunct unifi...

SWNHD-888MSD -Has anyone got these to work on Blue Iris?

I agree, I had just read a comment somewhere that these were ONVIF compatible but had to be setup through internet explorer, and that was all the details given. $60 for cameras that retail for more than $150 is enticing, but the headaches certainly are not.

SWNHD-888MSD -Has anyone got these to work on Blue Iris?

I found a great deal on these cameras... I think... about $60 each, so I wanted to buy a couple to add to my Blue Iris NVR; however, I quickly learned from reading that Swann likes to lock their cameras for use only with their NVR... That being said I understand that this may actually be a...
