Thanks Tinman,
I downloaded the yolov26s file and will try that in a couple of days after testing with success using 640x640 AOIs.
From what I could understand; you use the yolov26s file as the primary and the delivery model from the standard model package, as an "additional model"?
Unless...
I got one good and one minimal detection today using the 640x640 AOI views. Thank you Mike!
The newest Camera ("Mailcam3" is different from any previous tests) has a better view and produced the best result.
The original camera I had used during BI5(deepstack days) "MailCam" still seems to...
Hello TinMan,
Thank you for testing the usps detection.
I am setup to test (3) 640x640 AOI clones on Monday when usps next delivers using the existing v8 model.
I will then try the yolov26s model after that. That looks very promising.
I read your posts on testing yolov26s and see that...
I was able to capture 2 instances with the new AOI implemented. I really like the way the AOI limits the viewing area making the objects of interest appear to be larger. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
Unfortunately I am not sure it helped with AI detection much? I did get one...
Hello Mike and thank you for responding. I was not familiar with the AOI setting and I will follow your advice and try that.
Don't know if something similar to AOI was present in BI 5.5.9.6?
I had the very same clone/area working fine with the same resolution in BI5 and deepstack without...
I was testing the same delivery model as Tinman has shown and had also tried the USPS.onnx dated 4/28/24 (downloaded directly an old post on this site).
I do not know how to show the metadata, can you please share how to find that information for models?
Understood and thanks. I did try updating to 6.0.9.8 but no joy.
I tried the IPcam-dark model just to see if it detected as an "additional model" and that worked ok.
Wonder if a newer version of Delivery.onnx, tested with this built-in AI, may be available at some point, or if a BI version...
Thank you for your feedback and for saving me from needing to try regressing versions.
My apologies for dual postings. This first one did not appear the next day after posting. Then when I posted again today they both got published for some reason.
I hesitated upgrading from V5 and deepstack...
Would like to start by thanking this community for all the guidance it has provided over the years, saving me many hours of experimentation.
I recently upgraded from BI Ver 5.5.9.6 using Deepstack AI, to Ver 6.0.9.0 and using the built-In AI. The transition went amazingly easy at first...
Thanks for posting that information. While that meter is not likely very accurate for absolute values it could certainly be used to take "relative" measurements.
Going from 5mw to 5 Watts is a huge change. For interest sake have you used it near your microwave oven while running? I...
5 watts, if accurate, is a very large issue. When you post results could you please include the model number of the device you are using and a screen shot of the levels being displayed?
A spectrum analyzer is what you need and it is not necessarily an easy tool to learn to use. As was pointed out, a high quality test unit is very expensive.
Here is a low budget device could possibly be used:
RF Explorer ISM Combo PLUS - Slim
There are several models depending upon the...
Hello wittaj,
Understood. I have always used the .dat files to review, analyze and improve settings. In this particular case I have no new captures using the new delivery models yet, as I have just installed it.
I was only using the Test and Tune on existing clips to confirm the model...
Sorry for being so vague in using the not working comment. I should know better.
I have been using the "Testing and Tuning function- using AI". For the models that work I get a lot of boxes with percentages for what it "sees".
Using the models higher up than the third from the bottom...
Thanks VideoDad,
I did understand the need for lower case on objects to detect.
I was not familiar enough with Github to understand the release versions. I took a look and saw the original at the bottom and 5 other releases. Please explain what you mean by version 4? I did not see...
Thankyou for your reply VideoDad,
My apologies to sstratoti after reviewing that he created the USPS.pt.
Yes I did have the model in the custom models folder ( same one that USPS.pt and all my other previous custom models models are located.)
I did use lower case for the delivery.pt...
Hello VideoDad,
Thank you for your work in producing these models.
I am still running an older version of Blue IRIS and using Deepstack for AI.
I recently installed your USPS.pt model to be able to detect the mail delivery. It runs on a clone that runs only a single delivery model...
