With and older firmware NVR i managed to reset it with the CCTV super password app. Select Dahua > Method > Reset with daytime > Press super password Then use the code to login. I believe i used login name; admin and then the super password generated by the app...

Are the camera's directly connected to the NVR? Did you try to lower the bandwith? What settings do you use at 'video detection' > settings > threshold and sensitivity?

Hello everyone, I have learned on this forum to enhance the image of the camera's using manual shutter and gain:thumb:. Since the new WEB layout / GUI from Dahua i cannot reach the exposure settings anymore. I see it but it is 'greyed out'. Any thoughts or ideas to solve this? See image below;

What location did you input the settings? At the nvr or directly on the webserver of the camera? I noticed that some settings on this camera are not being pushed from the NVR to the camera when changing settings with active deterrence.

How are your camera's/vto connected? Thru nvr? Did you check if it is live on your nvr. Maybe password related.

So schedule is set correct? Why press record button? Instead check playback on NVR?

Not sure what it caused but what i would try; -restart recorder/camera's Did you try VBR encode setting to see if it would help load faster for dmss app? (Although CBR is preferred for most people)

I had the same problem as original poster. For me this helped: -Go to DMSS App -Go to 'self' right bottom -General -Check notification to 'ON'

As far as i know; Region colors do not have anything to do with the colors of the Schedule of your recording. The reason you get so much 'yellow playback' is that the region settings are set way to sensitive. So if you want to set an alarm and want it to show on your filter you should add...

So not getting push messages in DMSS is a very common problem (search forum). And what i know is that different things like update/firmware/phones/settings can be a problem. And sometimes just the app which does not work the way it should work. Oké troubleshooting for now: -Make sure Smart Plan...

Hi Andy, did you check the period setting of the IVS at the web config? (Located near "parameter setup") it should be set on 24/7 also.

The option to schedule this could be found > under details device > warning activation/multi channel alarm subscription > and when enabling this slide at the top you could see a period schedule option. But they probably (accidentally) removed this option with the last update of DMSS. I still...

I noticed that it is sometimes internet provider related or maybe a certain router that blocks the camera's from internet. Solution that is not really pretty but works; set auto maintance reboot every day/week.
