Not at all a dumb question. I upgraded the firmware this morning and suddenly there are things on the web interface that were previously only available on the HDMI GUI. However I've been unable to find the custom protocol on either!

Ok so it turns out the 7316 only supports IP cameras with a maximum resolution of 1080P. Once I reduced the resolution from 2048x1536 back to 1920x1080 it worked straight away, or at least the Hikvision camera did. I still can't add the non-Hik camera, as above the user manual describes...
