What I am doing is going to LTS Security's website under the Downloads page and I Search for "LTN8916H" (because this NVR seems to be the closest to our Laview LV-N9616D6E), and I download the firmware. I just upgraded my NVR. Proceed at your own risk.

Thank you! The app looks good. It looks like LaView's app is just a simplified version of this app. I guess I am on my own for remote viewing outside my network. So you bought another NVR? I guess everyone here is on their own for future firmware updates. :( Thanks!
