    I was able to get the latest firmware (5.4.5) from Hikvisions site but my cameras on still on 5.0.0 and I can't upgrade directly to 5.4.5. I've done some googling but haven't found any downloads yet. Is there a source for the older firmware needed to do the incremental upgrades? My cameras...

    This helped me so I wanted to reply here even though it's an old thread. I was running Blue Iris 4 as a service and it would not write to my mapped drive on my NAS either (FreeNAS Corral) . I unchecked the "run as service" box, restarted Blue Iris, and now it would write to the NAS.

    It was a Buffalo Linkstation. Once you create the share, you have to go into the share and turn off the trashbox (recycle bin) feature. By default, it's enabled. TrashBox explained - Details of an answer | Buffalo Inc. Also several other settings inside the share, but I can't remember them off...

    Good call. Turned out to be a default setting I wasn't aware of. Disable. Deleting the folder now. That should take care of it. Thanks for the guidance!

    Attempted a repair. Crashed in the middle of it and just says Generating 95%. Attempted to repair again, nothing. Any ideas?

    I understand what the red stands for, but it doesn't seem to coincide with what's actually on my NAS. And I just checked each folder and the clip dates are correct, so it's working as far as the number of days to keep them.

    I'd like to bring this old thread back, because I'm lost on this too. I have NAS that is dedicated to storing my clips. Total available space is 1,847.64GB. I have my New clips set to 500GB limit. I have my Stored clips set to a 500GB limit. I have my Alerts set to a 250GB limit...
