    Oh I didn't realise that. Thanks for letting me know. Think I will not use my old sock method anymore or use the PC/Mouse at all, just to be on the safe side. Anyone want a decent PC and suspect camera mouse for free. Can't take any chances, these days!

Sure it would be possible and this would elevate the need, to access the three IP cameras to configure. Most routers are configurable from the default settings. Perhaps source...

    I can see why it's such a mess installation. He's obviously a Hikvision engineer (as it says on the back of his t-shirt) and he's installing Dahua equipment. Never mix other brands.

    Excellent advice. Nearly as good as my previous post. Best advice as stated previously, is to put the mouse in an old stinky sock and still have control. The cam within the mouse will be totally obscured.
