    what happens when the button is pressed with the supply power? is it shorted then? I am running the doorbell from the aux power out from my alarm panel, with a fuse but without the small 'power unit' and don't want to fry the alarm system

    Thanks for this, managed to install the Hikvision firmware onto the ezviz device. I accidentally pressed 'Active' and had to do a reset of the device to undo this and go back to the 6-character code. why did I press it? well, unless I did I couldn't see how to access the network config from...
