    I’ve just been checking my CCTV. On IVS I’ve setup some Intrusion Boxes, Smart Plan is enabled but when trying to search no results are showing. Any ideas.

    P2P not working on Managed Network with Draytek Firewall

    I’ve tied that. They have a comms cabinet with a Cisco POe that’s linked to a Data Port by Excel. But I’ve tied DHCP and it’s issued a new IP address but I think the firewall is blocking any new IP addresses.

    I am looking to replace my Ring Door Bell after the subscription price increase. I’ve Dahua Camera and I’ve seen they do a Door Bell. Has anyone used one or fitted one? Can they sit on your WiFi network? As I’ve no way of getting a cable to the Router.

    P2P not working on Managed Network with Draytek Firewall

    I’ve tried setting up an NVR on a Managed Network that has a Cisco POE and Draytek Firewall. I can view the cameras on the IP Address of 192.168.1.26 but P2P isn’t Online even when it’s enabled. How it’s currently connect is 4 way switch POE port 8 way switch Uplink 1 - LAN port on the NVR...

    Do any of you actually use Dahua P2P for external access to your cams?

    I am referring to the IP Address of the camera which usually starts 10.1 etc should I change them to 192.168. Or does it not matter?

    I’ve an ASUS ZenWiFi AX Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6. How can I set this up so that I’m not using P2P. Also is it wise to change the default IP Cameras to on my IP Network?

    Right I will give that a go. So I would essentially plug a cable into uplink one that would go to the NVR and then plug a cable into uplink 2 that would go to the other switch into uplink 2

    Right okay. What ports would I connect the Cat5e to on each switch? Do you just add the switch in the same was as adding cameras? How do you get the cameras to go on to the switch and some to the NVR?

    Camera randomly going off

    It’s a Dahua 5MP IP Camera with LED Lights. It’s connected with an RJ45 Plug. Access is through the NVR and when I’ve added the camera. The status is showing green in the Camera menu on the NVR.

    I’ve a weird issue with a Dahua IP Camera it works and then all of a sudden it says network unreachable. It finds the cameras okay and the status is showing green. Any ideas?
