Thank you I found the setting that was causing the issue on the garage camera. I looked at the settings in the camera and found it to be a little complex to understand. I will reference the link you sent to enable the onboard AI. Thank you so much for the help!

It's sorted out now. I do have a question on the hardware acceleration. In the BI setting, under camera, I can set different HA settings like Intel. Once that's set, do I need to set HA again under camera settings or will "default" inherit from BI settings?

After factory reset I left Smart Codec in the off position. Everything appears fixed now with the main stream. For the substream I have set continuous recording with triggered snapshots every 5 sec, should I not do this? Trigger as in a trigger from AI Tool or a manual trigger from inside BI5...

I tried delete and re-add the camera, no good. Then I tried rebuilding the database, that didn't fix it either. Next I reset the cameras to factory and that appears to have fixed the problem. Thank you for the help @wittaj

I have 4x Loryta T5442TM-AS cameras running on Blue Iris 5 with AI Tool (VorlonCD). Most of the time when these cameras get triggered, they will show "recording" in BI5 but when the trigger ends, the recorded clip is either 0s or it will show 10s but playback shows "file not found" error...

I tried HLC at 10 but it still had more artifact than plain BLC. Only setting that reduced the glare is the WDR at high getting of 70+, but then the whole picture turns purple and nasty.

I tried the manual exposure settings, they pretty much all produce a black picture except for the tiny bright spot under the street lamp. I will leave this camera under B/W for now. Thank you for the tips.

It's during the night. There is a street lamp ahead that I'm trying to use BLC to get rid of the glare. Settings in the attached pictures. WB = Auto, forced Color Nightvision, IR = Off, Defog = Off

When I turn on WDR or SSA under BLC for 5442TM-AS, the picture gets a purple tint. Almost every form of BLC makes the picture look worse than OFF. There is a way to fix this?
