You might need to switch the firmware to get IVS. Can't remember if mine had it before switching firmware but I don't think it did.

I did mine with the TFTP method but downgrading is much easier. If you look a few pages back Teeauu attached the file. Hope this helps!

It unlocks additional detection features (ie. Smart Plan , Tripwire, Intrusion), but I'm not sure if it was supposed to upgrade streams & resolution. I was just happy to get better detection via Tripwire. EDIT: I believe the Dahua equivalent camera is the IPC-HDW2531T-AS-S2, see link for specs.

I just received the Amcrest IP8M-T2669E-AI and can confirm it's the same as the Dahua IPC-HDW3841TM-AS. It's system info screen states: appAutoStart=true deviceType=IP8M-T2669E-AI hardwareVersion=1.00 processor=SSC339 serialNumber=** updateSerial=IPC-HDW3841TM-AS Hope this helps!

If this was done on an AMD based Synology, (DS1621+) could you run deepstack on a RPi4 with an Intel neural compute stick or a Jetson Nano? If so, do you think it would help / speed up the image process times?
