Camera is always hitting the AI server

I found that the 'static object detection' was causing tons of issues with my CPAI. I've disabled it on all cameras - make sure you uncheck it even if AI is disabled on that camera.. seems like a bug

Camera is always hitting the AI server

What version of BI and CP.AI are you using? I have the same issue with one of my cams which is constantly sending images to CP.AI even though it's completely disabled. I've noticed a ton of instability with CP.AI & BI integration with the latest releases

    CodeProject.AI 2.9.5 w/YOLOv5.NET (GPU/DirectML) memory growth/leak

I've had some incredible instability lately and made a post on it here: https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/very-odd-codeproject-ai-blue-iris-behavior-thoughts.80453/ I also am experiencing memory leakage. Every few days CPAI completely stops responding to BI and I must restart CPAI through the BI...

Odd Question - Looking for Cameras for recording a conference

Yep - a few of us - if you let us know what the room layout & size is and whether you're looking for PTZ etc we can help you out

Odd Question - Looking for Cameras for recording a conference

Okay - any help on room size & camera positions? Do you need PTZ or static cams? One other note - you will need to sync the video feed with the audio even if RTMP - the separate audio feed simply will not dub over the video feeds perfectly (unfortunately) but it can all be handled in OBS. A...

If you had this set up what would you use ?

Just a thought - if you have BI in the basement/garage you could use one of those cat5e cables to service a switch in the attic. At that point you can tap into the switch with a ton of cams and not worry about running more cables up 3 stories.

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

Grrr - I spoke too soon - it is still doing it.. I may try an earlier version of CPAI but I'm at a loss again.

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

Alright - well the full reinstall seems to have done the trick - I'm guessing some latent model was corrupted but never replaced when I reinstalled... easy fix :banghead:

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

I just reinstalled CPAI but made sure to delete all models & data - will see if this fixes it. I didn't realize that uninstalling CPAI did not delete the modules/models - will report back.

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

Unfortunately with it disabled I'm still having the same results! And, hmm, I was pretty certain that static object analysis was used to cancel alerts for objects that are not moving in the frame. For example, if you have a car parked in your driveway the 'static object analysis' would be used...

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

I do have it enabled on all of my cameras - I just disabled it on one just to see what happens. It does seem like CPAI is shooting off a ton of false positives on single images, though.

Very Odd CodeProject.AI/Blue Iris Behavior - Thoughts?

Hi all - running BI 5.9.9.24 (latest stable update) and CodeProject.AI 2.9.5.0 I don't know when/why this started - but BlueIris is randomly receiving TONS of positive identifications on all of my cameras from CodeProject.AI. Below is just an example, this happens on all of my cameras. I've...

How to reset status/alerts with Android app

Interestingly a few months ago I ran into the same issue and the app has slowly & completely destabilized. I can no longer clear alerts (or even view alerts). The app hangs when I try to switch between 'camera' and 'alert' screens. I've tried clearing data, uninstalling the app, etc to no avail...

how to get HA to pull an image from BI and send to my Telegram?

Yes this is exactly right - OP needs to figure out how to either transmit the actual path of the image to HA or transmit the image itself to HA where it can save it locally and transmit to Telegram. I was hoping OP would provide information about his camera so that I could see if there was any...

how to get HA to pull an image from BI and send to my Telegram?

I don't think you actually have a URL to an image - I think you have a URL to a webpage that is displaying an image... so you'd have to figure out what the actual URL of the image is (which may be complicated).. let me think if there would be a better solution using HA and maybe NodeRed. What...

how to get HA to pull an image from BI and send to my Telegram?

Typically you would list the service and then data second - this may just be presentational and I haven't tested it but I would expect alias: test blue iris send photos trigger: - platform: time at: "23:00:00" action: - service: telegram_bot.send_photo data: url...

    LPR: Database & Alerts

No county numbers but my algorithm flags new plates that have visited multiple times within the last month - so I'm just trying to eliminate false positives on new neighbors/vehicles. Even delivery trucks etc. are eliminated as they have a pattern of appearing multiple times more than 30 days in...

    LPR: Database & Alerts

Ahh that makes sense, I stumbled across a few sites that appeared to offer a service you just described for $9.99/check or $29.99/mo but wasn't sure if it would give me what I needed anyway. I'm scanning ~6k plates per month so it would have to have some sort of REST API or similar and obviously...

    LPR: Database & Alerts

I put together a pretty neat system with my LPR cams and a number of other software installations that does the following: 1) IP Cam for license plate photo & ONVIF trigger to Blue Iris 2) Blue Iris to pass photos to CodeProject.AI for license plate detection & first attempt at reading 3) Blue...

AI Flag w/o adding to Alert List

Hmm - I moved it into it's own group but I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say not to show that group in BI - I've scoured the user manual and settings (even tried hiding the camera). My default view is generally 'All Cameras' - are you saying I should use a different view or is there a...

AI Flag w/o adding to Alert List

Hello - I'm currently running an LPR cam with CodeProject.AI and it's working perfectly. The only think I don't like is that it is jamming up my alerts list, like, big time. Especially on the mobile app I'm having to scroll through seas of license plates to glance through recent alerts. I'd...

    Conduit from basement to attic

To answer your question - no there wouldn't be any issues or interference in a stand alone copper pipe that isn't part of the main home's grounding system There may be other considerations that you haven't thought about (aside from your original question) regarding whether running low voltage...

"We're here to check the air filters .. "

I have seen some testing w/ hollow points and their velocity & penetrability after travelling through sheetrock alone is significantly reduced. Not sure if he was actually using HP's but just another reason that hollow points are so important as they transfer nearly all of their energy to the...

I generally fill it with dielectric grease then give it a wrap with silicone tape, never had an issue
