Trendnet TV-IP672PI Stream Type Not Supported with Hikvision NVR?

I ended up ordering a TrendNet NVR to use on the old cams. However, even their own NVR didn't work. It has protocols TrendNet1, TrendNet2, TrendNet3 along with ONVIF. The cam only worked with ONVIF but very frequently lost connection. Done trying to make those cams work.

Trendnet TV-IP672PI Stream Type Not Supported with Hikvision NVR?

So frustrating as these cameras would be very handy to have running until I determine what new cams to buy and install. Support from Trendnet said to select protocol Trendnet I or Trendnet II on the NVR. However, the NVR only supports the protocols listed below. Any chance any of the protocols...

Trendnet TV-IP672PI Stream Type Not Supported with Hikvision NVR?

We have a building with several of these cameras installed that we would like to get connected to our Hikvision NVR until we figure out what new cameras we are going to put in the building. When I add the camera the NVR says "Stream type is not supported". NVR is a Hikvision DS-96128NI-I24/H...

Need Recommendation for 64 Channel NVR

I did purchase BlueIris a while back but have not used it. :smash: Need to try to find what I did with it and give it a try. I did find an iPhone app that was free and worked quite a bit better for me than their IVMS-4500 app do not surprised software from someone else to you on computer will...

Need Recommendation for 64 Channel NVR

I need to buy a new NVR and cams for our new location. Current location has 30-40 cams and a Hikvision DS-96064NI-I16 with 80TB storage. New location needs about the same setup with slightly more cams. The DS-96064NI-I16 works fine as far a reliably recording video, but when it comes to...

Any practical way to backup 80TB of NVR data remotely?

According to Hikvision, the NVR doesn't support external storage devices. Confused because the manual and datasheet reference "storage extension" shown below. Clueless tech support...

Any practical way to backup 80TB of NVR data remotely?

We have a Hikvision DS-96064NI-I16 NVR with 10 x 8TB drives, and about 35 cameras. We need to retain at least 60 days of data. NVR says IP camera connection is 208 Mbps. We need to find a way to back up the data in the event the NVR is stolen or destroyed. We're also limited due to our...

    Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

Stories like this, which are all so common, is a reason there is so much apathy by the general public in the USA about this virus: Five hospitalized as coronavirus quarantine begins in San Diego https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-02-06/coronavirus-quarantine-starts-in-san-diego I...

I live 9 miles from confirmed case in California. Hence, my keen interest in the virus. How close do the rest of you live to an infected site?

Video of Americans being evacuated to USA to air force base here. Per CDC, the risk is low, nothing to worry about here. LOL.

I think China is releasing (fabricating) the minimum numbers possible to still maintain a small amount of credibility, ensure enough fear to keep people compliant with isolation measures, and not create a panic in the financial markets. You are not going to only have something like 60 new deaths...

@Frankenscript - I don't know if the CFR on this one will follow that path as closely as typical but generally agree with you. Because this one is so contagious, and spreading so fast, I think it can disrupt health care systems to the point that "prompt medical attention" is no longer is...

    Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

@Murphy625 - The CFR (case fatality rate) is not calculated by dividing deaths by recovered. The CFR is deaths/infections. As of today: Govt stats 565 dead / 28,274 infected = CFR 2% Tencent data (I have no idea if this is real or bogus, but the Tencent infection rate is much closer to Lancet #...

Keep in mind the the exponential novel coronavirus spread is when China is practically shutdown for their new year holiday and people are staying at home due to the virus. About 80% of their economy is shut down due to holiday and the virus. Soon everyone will be going back to work or China and...

A funeral home in Wuhan is pleading for help from exhausted staff. They are reporting that as of 01/28 they have been working 24/7 burning 100 bodies per day. (China passed decree that funerals are not allowed and Corona bodies must be cremated right away.) That’s about 700 bodies from that one...

Blue Iris 5 Fisheye Dewarping Capable? Hardware recommendations?

Sounds like on playback it can do dewarping. That is all I really wanted. Not all that important for us to have live view dewarping. Thanks for info!

Blue Iris 5 Fisheye Dewarping Capable? Hardware recommendations?

We're getting tired of our sluggish "high end" $4,000 Hikvision NVR and took the first step today buying the Blue Iris 5 software that was on sale here at IPcamtalk to see if a PC with BI will work better. Does anyone know if BI will dewarp fisheye cams? We have some of the Hikvision 12MP...

Yes! The very preliminary CFR for the novel coronavirus is 2% meaning this coronavirus is about perhaps 20 times more deadly than the seasonal flu coronavirus. There is currently a strain of bird flu corona virus in China that is very hard to be transmitted to humans, and hard to spread from...

Audio Compatibility Problems with DS-2CD2543G0-IS Camera with DS-96064NI-I16 NVR

The audio on the OEM camera does not work properly. I think it may be a Hikvision issue but they will not provide support other than to check basic settings. I have installed over 30 cams on our NVR, several with audio, they all work fine. However, with this camera, the audio does not record to...

Not trying to be offensive to the Chinese people, but China is China, and the numbers we get from their government are always manipulated to their desired script. Time to replace my Hikvision DS-7716. Recommendations?

I have a Hikvision DS-7716NI-SP / 16 at work with 16 cams for about 3 years now. It's been fairly reliable but I think running 16 cams may be pushing it too hard as it's sluggish and it just seems tired. I'm also disappointed with the Hikvision software / firmware. A couple of years ago on a...

Unable to see liveview on 7716NI after Hikvision 3.3.4 firware update

I have two identical 7716NI-SP/16 NVRs. One is at home and the other at work. I upgraded the home NVR to 3.3.4 and have not been able to get Liveview to work via Safari Brower on my Mac laptop. Liveview works with the NVR with older firmware using Safari. With both NVRs I can see liveview using...

    Hikvision 3.3.4 firmware

About 2x a year something comes up that I wish I had an ethernet port on my Mac. Now I have one. :) The POE injector also arrived yesterday. I didn't even open the box. Hikvision 3.3.4 firmware

Success! Being skeptical of everything MS / Windows, I thought perhaps the problem had something to do with Windows. Ugh - This is going to take me some time... Corey - My cams currently show 5.2.0 firmware, so I think I need to do as alastairstevenson mentioned. But I'm old and dumb so bear with me.
