[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Hey guys, my setup has been in a box for over a year and a half, but was working fine before the move. I'm trying to get it set up in the new place. Detection and everything appears to be working fine, but telegram notifications aren't working. I deleted my bot, and created a new one, but still...

Wow, it's been a while since I had that issue, so I don't even remember what resolved it! Everything had been running trouble free for months now Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Nope. You can build it from source, but I think someone posted a later build a few weeks ago. Maybe @Village Guy ? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

No, definitely not. It's just not capable of that. I personally have our phones as presence sensors through Smartthings Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I think there's a big in that version. I tried to build it from the latest source because I believe Chris said it's fixed since the release, but I get errors. I had to roll back to the previous version Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

You downloaded the source. You need the files found here: https://github.com/VorlonCD/bi-aidetection/releases Look for the one named AITOOL-VORLONCD.zip Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I have copies of my cameras, they just aren't truly clones. CPU usage is a little higher, but not enough to worry about Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I did some experimentation on this a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, if you make any changes to the video settings after the clone is created, it doesn't see it as a clone anymore. I never could get it to stick, so I gave up Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Check to see if BI dropped the images in the folder. If it did, it's not an issue with motion detection, rather more likely your AITool settings. What's your cool down set to for that camera? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Not 100% certain, but it looks like you have your hd camera set to trigger on motion above. Which screenshot shows how your sd cam? That's the one that needs to trigger on motion. AITool will send a trigger back to the HD cam via the link you set up in the camera settings Sent from my Pixel 3...

So, how's the accuracy on the new version? I'm constantly getting person notifications on this cat that's been hanging around the house. Also, when they say that noavx is supported out of the box, do I still add the noavx tag to the command when I run it? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

You need the latest VorlonCD version. Then under the camera settings, see my screenshots below. Just customise the text to your liking. There are some variables you can use, as well as just the ability to type in what you want. It's awesome

New version working fantastically! Question, would it be possible for Telegram to send basic info with the image like camera name, and what it saw? Example: Person spotted at FrontDoor Is that doable? Would be super useful to see what the alert is on my smart watch without having to tap on the...

I don't see a mask in that second photo. How did you create your mask? Is it possible that the whole photo is a mask?
