Thanks for the tip, but I'm close to ordering the IPC-HFW2831T-ZS, it fills all my criteria. I just need to figure out what equipment I need with it, like NVR or raspberry Pi, if anyone has any tips? It doesn't have a mic though, might need to link in a third-party mic if that's possible?

That camera looks good, it's slightly above what I was wanting to pay for a camera but might be worth it. It costs around £1k here in the UK, any idea why it is now so cheap in Germany? However I can't find any reviews or videos about, do you know anything about it?

The seller on aliexpress told me the camera is "not compatitable with english version NVR", did you manage to get it working with an NVR?

Especially as there are so few 4K cameras out there that record video at 25fps or more for an affordable price, it's a desirable feature so you would think that they would sell a lot. But maybe they are taking it away as they just want people to buy the much more expensive cameras that are 25fps+.

I can't understand either why they updated the camera but downgraded the fps from 25 to 15.

Thanks but I'm looking for one that is 4k, I'm going to probably buy the IPC-HFW4833F-ZAS DirkJensen recommended. Hard to find many 4k ones 25fps or above, so many at 15fps but it's too jumpy.

Thanks for the suggestion. They're installing fiber internet in my area with an upload speed of over 100 megabytes per second, so would hopefully be enough. It's a similar setup to the channel below I would have, not sure I need a PTZ.
