Sorry for delay, I don't get notifications. This could be super overkill for what you are trying to do.
I use Xeoma as my recording platform and it has a module which allows you to enable or disable recording via an http request so:
camera -> HA -> xeoma http on -> record on
camera -> HA ->...
Not sure if anyone else has seen this error on a VTO, I have a VTO4202F-P-S2 which has been fine for almost a year but last few weeks on H.264 I have been getting vertical wavy corrupt lines in the image.
It is coming direct from the camera as the corruption is reproduced from any device. Also...
i use presence detection in home assistant so that when i am home my internal cameras disable IVs triggers to avoid unnecessary video recording / alerts etc.
I'm getting "update package invalid and update failed" for a HDW3449H-AS-PV using this firmware, 1st time I have seen this. Any suggestions on how to resolve?
thanks to OP this is fantastic, IPC-HDW3449H-AS-PV works fien as in i can control the following:
LED light - on off and brightness
Sec. light - on off
Siren - on off
and it detects IVS motion.
It would be good if you can add an option to change profiles
Otherwise great work
This great, many thanks. Been struggling to send an http request via home assistant but no luck as I have no programming skill. This is a super easy way to do it.
I'm trying to get ONVIF triggers to be recognized in my NVR but they aren't which tells me the firmware is not supporting Profile T (if I have understood this correctly)
anyone else have this
I'm moving over form Ubiquiti so a lot to learn. I have a current indoor cam and want to add another one facing it. Would there be any issues if they face each other from an IR light point of view?
