I'm using it with BI and have the same issue. Camera reports movement all the time while nothing actually moves. I tried lowering the sensitivity etc and nothing helps. In the end just switched to letting BI to detect motion. Its not ideal, but it works.

I'm not really looking for a button. I want it to be activates when BI detects motion. I can do motoin detection on the camera and turn on the light when motion is detected this way. But this camera really not that good in motion detection at least in my case. BI doing a much better job.

UNIFI actually shows that the camera is still connected But I loose it in Synology and in the Hikvision app on my phone Also when the camera is ok I can go to its IP and get "Access Error: 404 -- Not Found". When I loose it I no longer get any response when browsing its IP

Actually its a good idea thanks I'm not sure "restart after disconnect will work, because my dorbell just disconnects and I need to power it off and on to make it alive again. I will try anyway it wont hurt for sure. But I will also set it to restart daily and see if it will help

There is an AP just next to it and the signal is always strong IP is set to Manual to avoid DHCP problems Plus as soon as I restart it it all goes back to normal
