    Can anyone suggest a battery powered doorbell? I know that is not ideal and can't use BI really. Looking to get two of them. Most all my IP cams are dahua with a few older hiks left.

    Trying to decide if it's worth trying, i really don't get any false notifications. I live on a farm so there is nothing really going on. I get groundhogs, cows, birds, squirrels, deer, bears and a few delivery drivers. :) What is the advantage of using it?

    IPC-Color4K-T180 what is the proper junction box?

    What ceiling mount junction boxes are compatible with the IPC-Color4K-T180? I guess this is the same camera. https://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/All-Products/Network-Cameras/WizMind-578-Series/5-Series/Full-color/IPC-PDW5849-A180-E2-ASTE It list the PFA137.

    DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL unbranded version?

    Is there a unbranded version of this camera that is a little cheaper and if so are you able to update the firmware in English? Trying to decide on the hik or the IPC-Color4K-T180, it seems the hik has a better mount.

    My cousin wants cameras on his doublewide and does not want to make any holes in his roof to install them and to make things worse there is no attic.     The doted lines represents a single CAT5E cable in the ground. This is how the previous owner had cables ran. I would like to remove the two poe switches that are located at the barn and garage and just run 4 CAT6 cables back to the house from each building so there is only one POE switch...

    BI live screen lags but reordering's do not?

    When i watch someone walk on the live video in BI desktop app there is a 1.5 sec lag or so but on the recording of the event there is no lag. What is going on here? By lag i mean someone takes 4 steps then there is a sec or two lag.

    I will be using a ubiquiti dream machine se and 15 IP cameras with BI. In the past i always used a VLAN but i wonder if it is even necessary as i have multiple poe switches and it gets to be a lot to deal with remembering what port the cameras poe switch is using over multiple buildings.
