    Noob lookin for help with no power poe

    So, I took the hikvision route and had a power surge the other day with a nearby lightning strike. Lost picture on the cams but the nvr was still on. Did some troubleshooting and realized there is no poe. Took the cam down and gave it a 12v power source and connected the cat5 and the picture...
