@NightLife Good news. PFsense out of the box with OS base is in Firewall mode. Baby steps. The GUI is intuitive. Watch the instructional videos. You cannot break PFSense. There are many add ons and built in features. Personally here addons run are Snort, pfBlockerNG, Backup and OpenVPN...- pete_c

You can install PFSense on any box with two NIC ports or a box with one NIC port and one USB NIC. All use need is a PFSense boot USB stick.
