I agree with @garycrist. Capacitors going bad will be bulging or leaking. Have a look on the BadCaps forum for methodologies of repair. -

I can see two INC branded IP cameras in a IP ISpy Connect database. No mention of Hikvision. The software here ==> is proprietary. 1 - INC-MP30VC-280 2 - MP20V It could be a Ring based chipset on the camera in question. Personally if it does what you want it to do then it should be OK... -

Just noticed that the Android Hikvision iVMS 4500 app does not work any more with the Doorbell. It works fine with 3 other Hikvision cameras on the network. The Hikvision iVMS 4500 app was working fine with the doorbell.
