OK, I hate it when I miss the obvious... :lmao: The custom model field in the static object analysis window was staring me right in the face and it was blank... I had filled it in the previous dialog for Alert Confirmation but not in the Static Object Analysis one... I will try and change it... -

Note that the update function on CPAI 2.6.5 will fail. I had to go to the other URL, the one I posted, where I downloaded 2.8.0 and then installed that. About your system, I am not familiar with Mint. Mine is running a very barebones Windows 10 with nothing else except BI and CPAI, a few... -

Found myself in the same spot a few days ago... had a look around on the forum and discovered updates can be found here now... https://codeproject.github.io/ I went 2.6.5 -> 2.8.0 and today to 2.9.4 I don't know if I was very lucky, but all went very smooth PS - as to CPU usage, it depends... -

Not sure if this has been discussed already, search didn't find anything. Running BI 5.9.9.9 and CP AI 2.9.4 & YOLOv5 6.2 BI is configured as shown: I have never been able to change this list. Now on at a camera level, it is set like this - as far as I understand this should indicate to... -

Just in case it is of use. Updated from 2.6.5 to 2.8.0 and subsequently to 2.9.4, always simply ran the installer and chose the option to remove previous. Installer takes its time, but no errors and all is working fine -

@wittaj as always thanks for your fast response! I'm still not a 100% sure though... 1. A logged trigger shows as a bolt, and in the case of the red shield it shows as an "i"... 2. In any case, if the trigger is recorded, and I set up immediate pre-alert actions then those should happen even...- pyspilf

Well, I have another 4 Dahuas of the same model, and 3 Hikvision. All are configured the same in terms of network, encoding, etc. All the Ubiquiti links are configured the same too... So, all cameras are running H264 to make things easier on the processor. No cameras have ROI enabled. The particular Dahua camera has Smart Plan enabled and one intrusion zone. The link is surely not the issue, as I tried the opposite. Disabled the Dahua and left the two cheap ones on, and they both are stable at 15fps on both main and sub streams- pyspilf

So I had a look at a clip recorded with that camera and it exhibits the same behavior. The fps (I have an overlay to show that) jumps around between 8ish and 20ish and the recording is, of course, choppy. Both of you seem to think that the issue could be around network traffic… I thought so too, but as I mentioned traffic is around 14-16Mbps on a link which is capable of a lot more… I spent a while observing it on the ubiquiti device manager, and it wasn’t really...- pyspilf

I think I will reach out to IMOU and see if they can provide any info... I suspect it could be corrected in the firmware but I also know they would prefer their cameras to be used via cloud and their app... I had already set it like that using SmartPSS, but I just checked again to make sure, and it is set to never Auto Restart. I have a suspicion the frame rate and iframes reset when the camera switches on the IR. I have my profile set to "regular". I will dig into the profiles a bit and see if...- pyspilf

Yes, right now in Spain they can be bought for around 85€... as overview cameras I find they are ok -

Maybe a better idea. I only start ngrok when I am away and need to access (a bit of a convoluted way, but it works for me: I use Alexa on my phone to run a home automation event in Homeseer which starts ngrok), and usually stop if afterwards for security concerns...
