Install locations and camera suggestions needed

@Lloydchristmas I would look into a Hikvision 2332 cameras with an Hikvision NVR, if you like to play around and use different brand cameras I would get a Windows Computer with an i5 or i7 processor running Blue Iris I will have to admit the Huisun Mini Bullet PTZ camera does look pretty nice.

    Blue Iris Hardware Recommendations

When i get my permanent pc here i will buy the software, it appears that each camera at 10fps @ 1080p adds about 5% of cpu usage so the i5 4570 will handle 8 cameras at 50% cpu, even more if the licensed BlueIris does indeed lower the cpu usage, not to bad, i also think if this pc had 8gb of...

Really? I know you said that just curious to why? Also i used the auto detect and it is using a generic template for the hikvision cams and not a hikvision profile, why is that? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

This is 3 hikvision 3MP cams @ 20fps and 1 foscam @ 640x480 @ 15 fps using 40% cpu if I drop the hikvision's to 1080p @ 8fps the cpu goes down to 27%, pretty happy so far, going to add more cameras after dinner

Wow that is pretty good so really 5fps is not to bad if you just worried about foot traffic, 7.5 still almost perfect for walking with 5fps you could see a little choppy but not to bad, the fast moving car was neat to watch as well. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    trustworthy eBay seller for DS-2CD2632F-IS

With the 2CD2632F-I(S), you get the varifocal lens and audio as well over the, the varifocal is nice to have but you will never really adjust it once it is mounted. If you know the lens you need for your camera going with a fixed lens will be much cheaper and they are much smaller as well.

I was not aware of that, thank you. I assumed being you were recording more fps it would require more disk. I did know that the higher the bit rate the more disk.
